White Subaru BRZ

Each Subaru model may vary slightly in the recommended service, but this is a general guide that we use here at Soobie Surgeons to keep your Subaru road ready. For all fluids, we recommend using only Subaru coolant, Subaru transmission fluid, and synthetic oil.

7,500 miles – Top off fluids, rotate tires and change oil

15,000 miles – Inspect brake pads and linings and axles/CV joints, inspect clutch, steering and suspension components, rotate tires and change oil

30,000 miles –45,000 miles –   Inspect brake pads, linings and axles/CV joints, inspect clutch, steering and suspension components, rotate tires and change oil

60,000 miles – Inspect belts and replace if worn, check engine coolant level, inspect fuel filter, inspect air cleaner, replace spark plugs, replace brake fluid, inspect clutch, brakes, steering and suspension components, inspect wheel bearing lubricant, rotate tires and change oil

90,000 miles – Inspect belts and replace if worn, check engine coolant level, inspect fuel filter, inspect air cleaner, inspect spark plugs, replace brake fluid, inspect transmission and transmission fluid, inspect clutch, brakes, steering and suspension components, rotate tires and change oil

105,000 miles – Replace timing belt and associated timing components, inspect brake pads and linings and axles/CV joints, inspect clutch, steering and suspension components, inspect engine valve clearance, rotate tires and change oil. Note: On some newer Subarus, there is a timing chain instead of a belt and the timing maintenance is not necessary.

When your Subaru comes into our shop, we do a complete inspection of the vehicle every time. We leave no stone unturned, so your Subaru stays on the road as long as it can. We regularly service customers’ cars that have up to 350,000 miles on them, so we know that proper maintenance can keep a Subaru going indefinitely.
